One of the primary reasons Christian families don’t attend a private Christian school is the cost. In an effort to help families clear this financial hurdle, The Dayspring Opportunity Scholarship was established.
We are looking to award scholarships to middle school and high school families that desire a Christian education but cannot afford to send their students to Dayspring Christian Academy.
The tuition and fee cost for one student to attend Dayspring is approximately $10,000 per year. Our scholarship reduces that cost to just $50/month which is roughly 5% of the actual total cost of tuition and fees. The scholarship is competitive and is limited to three students per grade level.
To qualify for the scholarship a family needs to meet the following criteria:
- Christian parent(s)
- Qualify for the federal free and reduced lunch program
- Show academic (A’s and B’s) and spiritual aptitude
- Recommendations from pastor/youth pastor, etc.
- Preference given for single parent families/widows
- Be a new family to Dayspring
- Be entering 6th – 10th grade in the fall
The Dayspring Opportunity Scholarship is made possible through gifts to our scholarship fund by people who believe in the value of Christian education at Dayspring and The Dayspring Foundation, who raise the funds for scholarships.
