Dayspring Christian Academy offers a Christ-centered preschool program in Greeley, Colorado, for children ages 3-5. Our Pre-K 3, Pre-K 4, and Pre-K 5 programs combine early academics, kindergarten readiness, social-emotional development, hands-on learning, and biblical worldview integration. Dayspring Christian Academy accepts Colorado Universal Preschool funding for eligible children and served 110 preschool students during the 2025-26 school year.
At Dayspring Christian Academy, Pre-K 3 is more than child care. It is Christ-centered early education designed specifically for the way three-year-olds learn, grow, explore, and develop.
Our Pre-K 3 classrooms provide a nurturing environment where children are known, loved, challenged, and encouraged as they begin building the academic, spiritual, social, emotional, and physical foundations that prepare them for future learning.
Through intentional instruction, purposeful play, hands-on exploration, classroom routines, and biblical truth, children begin discovering the joy of learning while understanding one important truth: God created them, loves them, and has a purpose for their lives.
At Dayspring Christian Academy, Pre-K 4 is more than preparation for the next school year. It is an important season of growth when children develop the academic foundations, independence, confidence, relationships, and love of learning that will help prepare them for kindergarten and beyond.
Our Christ-centered Pre-K 4 program combines purposeful instruction with hands-on exploration and play, giving children opportunities to discover, create, ask questions, solve problems, build friendships, and grow in their understanding of God and His world.
Dayspring’s Pre- 4 classrooms have implemented Frog Street curriculum in alignment with Colorado Universal Preschool (UPK) requirements, while continuing to integrate ACSI Purposeful Design Bible curriculum and Christ-centered instruction throughout the school day.
The result is a comprehensive early learning experience designed to nurture the whole child—spiritually, academically, socially, emotionally, creatively, and physically.
Every child develops on a unique timeline. At Dayspring Christian Academy, our Pre-K 5 program serves as a purposeful transition between preschool and kindergarten. It is designed for students who may not be quite ready for kindergarten or have a later birthday, allowing them additional time and opportunities to develop academically, socially, emotionally, spiritually, and independently before they move on to the next stage of their education.
Pre-K 5 combines the structure and expectations of a kindergarten-readiness classroom with the engaging, hands-on learning experiences young children need.
Because of the unique nature of Pre-K 5, much of our curriculum is thoughtfully planned by the classroom
teacher to meet the specific needs of the students. This flexibility allows instruction to respond to children’s individual strengths, areas for growth, and readiness while building the skills and confidence they need for kindergarten.
Most importantly, Pre-K 5 is rooted in a Christ-centered approach to education. We don’t reserve faith for Bible class. We point children to Jesus throughout the school day as they learn, play, build relationships, solve problems, experience challenges, and discover more about God’s world.

“Pre-K 5 was the best choice we could have made for my son Liam. Liam is smart, talkative, and very tall. He was doing well with all of his letters, numbers, patterns, but even with his October birthday, we could tell he was just not ready for Kindergarten. His maturity, social skills, and self-control were not at the level needed to begin Kindergarten. Miss Andera provided a loving, safe, and supportive environment for Liam. He was given opportunities to practice emotional regulation skills, self-control, and handling conflict. I felt like Pre-K 5 still challenged him academically, and he got to participate in specials. Because of the work and extra time spent developing social skills in Pre-K 5, he has been a successful student in Kindergarten. He has a more complete grasp of the social skills so that he can successfully complete the academic challenges and independence that come with Kinder. We believe that the year Liam spent in Miss Andera’s class was the best thing we could have done for our little boy.”
