Dayspring Christian Academy’s vision is to raise up a remnant of spiritual champions, through academic excellence, character development, and an uncompromising commitment to Biblical Truth to impact the world as lights for Christ.
What does “raise up a remnant” actually mean? We are living in a post-Christian culture in America. All throughout the Old Testament God mentions raising up His remnant that will sustain His mission of making disciples. We are called to do the same today when culture no longer aligns with biblical values. Our children are this remnant. We recognize that God is at work raising up a remnant of leaders for the next generation and that He has called and chosen us by His grace to join Him for this purpose. Dayspring is dedicated to partnering with parents and the Church to train a generation of young people who understand that they are chosen by God and called to be leaders for the future. This commitment forms the bedrock of the educational program at Dayspring Christian Academy and serves as the foundation for our campaign.
Christian schools across the nation saw growth from 2018 up to and through the 2020 pandemic. DCA saw this same growth and received a post-Covid bump in student enrollment as lockdowns and online learning exposed what was and what wasn’t being taught in schools across America.
After much thought, prayer, and a feasibility study regarding the growth of Dayspring, the leadership decided to initiate a three-year capital campaign that started in 2021 to expand our current parking and build a new elementary building which would expand our capacity from 400 to 725 students. The campaign was successful in raising nearly $9 million in donations. However, the total project cost for the expanded parking lot and the new elementary building was $15 million. In 2025, we are entering phase two of the campaign to raise the final $6 million to pay off this balance.
