Variable Tuition
and Scholarship

We understand that managing educational costs can be challenging, so we want to provide some guidance on applying for tuition assistance.

Who should apply for assistance?

A general rule of thumb is to consider applying for assistance if your family’s tuition expenses exceed 10% of your household’s NET Income. While this is not a guarantee of qualification, it is a good starting point. For example, if your net income is $100,000 and your child’s tuition is $10,000, it is advisable to apply for assistance.

Application and Admission Process:

Please note that all new students awarded Variable Tuition, ACE, or the Opportunity Scholarship must complete the full application process. This includes:

It is essential to understand that receiving any of the awards listed does not automatically guarantee acceptance as a student at Dayspring Christian Academy. We encourage you to reach out if you have any questions regarding the application process or need assistance. Our goal is to support you in making the best educational choices for your family.

Multi-Child Discount

Families with three or more children will continue to receive a 10% discount for three children enrolled and a 15% discount for four or more children enrolled.  Please note that this is not stackable with Variable Tuition.  You can either choose the Multi-Child discount or Variable Tuition, but not both.

Opportunity Scholarships

At Dayspring we are committed to serving and partnering with Christian parents who share our vision and values, and who desire to educate their children in God’s truths. We believe that Christian education is a partnership between family members, teachers, and the church, as we work together to raise up the next generation of Christian leaders. Our Opportunity Scholarship program is aimed at welcoming NEW students in grades 6 through 12 to Dayspring Christian Academy. If your family qualifies for free and reduced lunch, we encourage you to reach out to our Generosity Director to explore potential openings in the appropriate grade.

To apply for this scholarship, families must complete the following steps

  1. Submit an application through FACTS Grant and Aid.
  2. Families will be recommended for Opportunity Scholarships by the principal(s).
  3. Students will need to submit a written essay and required documents to the Generosity Director.

Please note that there are academic standards associated with this scholarship, as detailed in the Opportunity Scholarship application. Student performance will be reviewed quarterly. If a student does not meet the specified requirements, they may face academic probation, which could result in the loss of the Opportunity Scholarship.

Families are required to apply each year; however, it’s important to highlight that most Opportunity Scholarships will follow the student through graduation at Dayspring Christian Academy.

We are committed to supporting our students and families, and we look forward to providing opportunities for all who seek an enriching educational experience.
