Sam Reese

President

Sam and his wife have two daughters that have been enrolled at Dayspring Christian Academy since 2016. Sam has over 10 years of management experience in the oil and gas industry and is currently at NGL Energy Partners. Prior to that, he served in the United States Air Force. Sam is honored to be the Dayspring Foundation Board President and to help the next generation become leaders for Christ.

Sarah Willcutts

Vice President

Sarah is currently a manager at Andersen’s Sales & Salvage, Inc in Greeley, Colorado. Sarah has been a part of Dayspring Christian Academy for many years as she is an alumna. She obtained a bachelor’s in Nursing from UNC and a Master’s in Business Administration from Liberty University. Sarah is involved with the board of the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the ISRI scrap trade association. She also uses her Nursing degree and volunteers as the Dayspring Christian Academy School Nurse.
Sarah and her husband Jeff live in Greeley and have 2 daughters, who are enrolled at Dayspring Christian Academy.

Daniel Preshaw

Treasurer / Secretary

Daniel Preshaw is the Managing Broker and Owner of His House, a Greeley based Real Estate and Property Management firm. Daniel is a Greeley native.  He graduated from The University of Northern Colorado in 2012 with a degree in Business and attributes much of his personal and business success to his time at UNC. He has a passion for education, golf, real estate, and enjoys spending time with his wife (Sara) and three young boys (Owen, Reid, and Graham). All three of the boys attend Dayspring Christian Academy.

Chuck Cooper

Board Member

Chuck is currently president of The Master’s Financial Group Inc.  Chuck has been involved in the financial services business since 1983. Before his work in financial services, Chuck worked as a police officer in Greeley.  Chuck has been an agent with Kansas City Life since 1983.  Also, he holds the designation of Certified Financial Planner (CFP).
Chuck has partnered with Dayspring over several decades both as a parent, and a Foundation Board Member during the gym Capital Campaign.  In 2017 Chuck again joined The Dayspring Foundation Board of Directors and currently serves as Vice President of the Board.

Jack Mount

Board Member

Jack has served as the previous president of the Dayspring Foundation Board of Directors, Jack graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science in agricultural economics and then went on to complete an MBA. Currently, Jack is the owner of M5 Consulting a business consulting firm based in Greeley.

Carlos Martinez

Board Member

Carlos has spent the last 33 years working as an engineering and marketing professional at Hewlett Packard.   Carlos and his wife Leslie have three children who all graduated from DCA.  Carlos has served in many capacities during his tenure at Dayspring including hosting several international students as well as serving eight years on the Dayspring School board.  Carlos joined the Foundation Board in 2017.

Dan Flanagan

Board Member

Dan and his wife, Naomi, have been married for 24 years and have 5 children.  Two of his children, Tabor and Hawkins, attend DCA.  Dan is Chief Sales Officer for BluSky Restoration Contractors, a national property restoration firm based in Denver.  He has been a member of the executive team at BluSky for 15 years.  He grew up in Iowa and moved to northern Colorado after he graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in 1995.  Dan joined the Dayspring Foundation Board in 2021, and is excited to help give Christian education opportunities to children in and around Greeley.

Debi Armstrong

Generosity Director

Debi and her husband Thor have been Greeley residents for the past 7 years. They have 3 children and 8 grandchildren.  Debi grew up in Wisconsin and met her husband Thor, who hails from Las Vegas, while on the mission field. Debi and her husband started their nonprofit organization working with refugees for 20 years around the world. Debi joined the Dayspring Foundation staff in March of 2021 as Director of Generosity and is excited to help provide Christian education opportunities to families in and around Greeley.

Rusty Morgan

School Board Member Representative

Rusty and his wife Linda are both Greeley natives. They have 3 children, the youngest is currently enrolled in Dayspring. Rusty has owned and operated Triple S Party Rental for the past 26 years. Rusty and his family enjoy being involved in community events, serving at church and the community. Rusty also has a passion for hunting and shooting sports. He has served on the Dayspring School Board since 2018, and is currently the School Board President.

Weston Kurz

Ex-Officio Member

Weston Kurz became Executive Director of Dayspring Christian Academy in 2012 after serving on both the Dayspring School Board and the Dayspring Foundation Board.  Weston has been a very active volunteer in our Greeley community, Serving on the Weld County Housing Authority board, The Greeley Urban Renewal Board, and Habitat for Humanity Board.  Weston was also a graduate of the 2010 class of Leadership Northern Colorado.  Before his Executive Director role at Dayspring Weston was an Executive Vice President at First Bank Greeley.
Weston and His wife Kristin have 2 daughters that graduated from Dayspring, Katie in the class of 2018 and Emily class of 2014.
