At Dayspring, we believe every child is unique and fearfully made in God’s image. We focus on the whole child and help them thrive not just survive. We partner with you in training a Godly child and nurturing their hearts for the Glory of Christ.
We are a big DCA family and every child is important to us, from the three year old to the seventeen year old.

Our wonderful staff members at Dayspring Christian Academy have chosen to focus their careers on being an integral part of the ministry and Christian Eduation that Dayspring is proud to provide.
Although staff members at private Christian schools are paid less on average than those of public schools, our staff members believe in the work being done at Dayspring and count it a priveledge to be involved in leading the next generation for Christ!

We just wanted to thank you for coaching our son and the whole football team this season. We especially wanted to thank you for the example you are setting for the boys as you care for Bridger & his family. You are leading us all in demonstrating Christ’s love to the whole Akron community and we greatly appreciate it! This is why we wanted our kids to be a part of Dayspring. Thank you so much for living out your faith and for teaching this to the boys. I’m so thankful that our son gets to play sports at a school where he can see the coaches focusing on taking care of others in need. We hold our students and families to biblical standards, through love and grace, so that together we may be better followers of Christ.
We do not teach what society thinks is right, we teach what God tells us is right, and this is something you will NEVER get at any public, or charter school.

I wish my beginning of the story was different. When Josh was 3, I was told I needed to start thinking about school choice for him. I didn’t understand at all what was meant. Two of my friends at the time had their kids on the waiting list at Frontier and “had done all the research” and found that “Christians needed to send their kids to Frontier.” So I just went along with it….I did not pray about it or even question it really.
