Why Dayspring Christian Academy

Why Invest in Dayspring? When it comes to raising our children we only get one chance. There really aren’t any “do overs”. God has entrusted children to us as parents and expects us to raise them in a way that will bring Him glory.

Why would you partner with a school that does not share your values? Dayspring Christian Academy partners with parents to raise children who will love and honor Jesus Christ and grow into their maximum God-given potential.

10 reasons you should send your child to Dayspring Christian Academy:

  1. Biblical Worldview – We integrate God’s truth as found in the Bible into all of our classrooms. This training is what is called for in Deuteronomy 6:7 where God says: “You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.” This requires more than an hour per week of Sunday school. The truth of the Bible is integrated in every subject throughout each day.
  2. Excellent Teachers – Our teachers are trained, degreed, and certified in their subject areas. They are passionate about teaching and making a positive difference in the lives of students by providing them a rigorous and well-rounded education with a biblical worldview. The teachers are all born again believers in Jesus Christ. We call them our “Living Curriculum.”
  3. Academic Excellence – We strive to grow students to the maximum of their God-given potential. We want our students to develop the ability to be life-long learners and embrace continual improvement and growth in all areas of their lives. We want them to view learning through the lens of scripture.
  4. Every Student Matters – Our faculty and administration will know your students by name and will build a positive relationship with them. Your children will be loved and will be more than a number at Dayspring.
  5. Competitive Athletics – Our coaches are competitive and work hard to create successful programs. More importantly, they pray with their team members and view athletics as a means to mentor and develop biblically-based character traits such as Godliness, integrity, discernment, faithfulness, forgiveness, truthfulness, discretion, dependability, teamwork, discipline, hard work, and leadership.
  6. Creative Performing and Visual Arts – Creativity is valued at Dayspring. Students are taught that they are made in the image of the consummate Creator-God. Therefore performing and visual arts are a way for students to reflect their identity in Christ and to become well rounded in their fine arts experiences in school.
  7. Leadership Development – We believe every student has the potential to be a “Spiritual Champion” for Jesus Christ. In this ever changing culture, we believe we need to send out strong Christian leaders that will be the next generation of world-changers. In the high school your child will have the opportunity to practice leadership through service to others.
  8. Christian Family Atmosphere – One parent from each family must be a professing Christian. This promotes a culture in which your values that you hold near and dear are shared by other Christian parents. This also provides for unity through the common bond of our Bible-based, Christ-focused faith.
  9. Partnership Since 1975 – Dayspring has been partnering with Christian families and several dozen churches in Greeley since 1975. We have over 40 years of testimonies of lives impacted through our educational ministry.
  10. The alternative choice, a secular school where recognition of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior has been systematically removed since the 1960’s, is not in the best interest of your child. Secular schools communicate, by design or default, that God is irrelevant. In His place they have substituted a variety of “social agendas” that are counter to the Christian faith. Christians have been lured into secular schools by a promise of “free” education, but the real cost in lost opportunity for biblical discipling during a major part of impressionable children’s waking hours each school day is very costly. Have you counted the cost of not having your child in a Christian school environment?
