Dayspring offers classes that are electives from a variety of fields using BEYOND TECHNOLOGY curriculum. Our overarching goal is to teach professional skills using professional tools. Students will learn the software, as well as the “soft skills,” needed to succeed in their field whether at college or in the workplace. They will work, whenever possible, on real world projects that have an effect on the community. And they will work for the glory of God.
DCA is blessed to have an Engineering Maker Space and 2 mobile Chromebook labs as well as a technology PC lab.
Some of the devices used in our technology programs are:
- Kindles
- Ipads/Iphones
- Google Chromebooks (including a mobile Chromebook Lab)
- PCs in both of our technology labs and classrooms
- Smart Boards in most of our classrooms

- Financial Literacy: practical financial literacy skills, such as budgeting and checkbook balancing with a biblical focus, for all seniors
- Computer Programming (Introductory and Advanced)
- Web Design: Internet design skills
- Graphic Design: print design skills
- Design Technology (Introductory and Advanced): AutoCAD for engineering.
- Web Multimedia: web design
- Web Development: web programming
- Media Literacy: advertising and video skills
- Journalism: writing and producing a student newspaper
- Yearbook: writing and producing a student yearbook with Jostens online page builer and Adobe Photoshop
- Robotics: programing and development
