What We Believe

Since 1975, Dayspring Christian Academy has been dedicated to providing a premier Christian education that is intentionally grounded in biblical principles. Our mission is to equip our students to "Learn, Love, and Lead" in their families, school, and community, with a focus on developing their God-given potential.

As an accredited member of both ACSI and Cognia, we are committed to providing a rigorous and comprehensive educational experience for students from PS-12th grade. Through our partnership with Christian parents, we strive to provide an education that prepares students for a lifetime of success and service, rooted in Christian faith and guided by the teachings of Jesus Christ.

Our Mission: From a Biblical worldview and in partnership with Christian parents, our mission is to educate the mind and train the heart of each student to serve the world for the glory of Christ.

Our Vision: Dayspring Christian Academy is to be a premier institution of Christian education that is distinctly and intentionally biblical in its approach.

Our Philosophy: “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.” This verse from Proverbs 22:6 speaks to the heart of Dayspring Christian Academy’s mission. We believe that every child is created in the image of God, but that they have also inherited man’s sinful nature. As a result, it is our goal to help each student become the person God intends them to be by accepting Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and by nurturing them in the Light and Truth of the Word of God. We founded our academy under the Lordship of Jesus Christ, and our school is a God-glorifying extension of the Christian home. Our commitment to biblical truth provides students with the opportunity for a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, academic excellence, and guided growth in physical, mental, spiritual, and social development. We firmly believe that quality Christian education is achieved when parents, students, teachers, administrators, staff, and board members support the school in every aspect and maintain open communication with one another. The following specifics are essential:

Parents

are responsible for their child’s education and spiritual growth.

Teachers

must realize a calling for teaching and be spiritually and academically qualified.

Students

must have a desire to learn and grow mighty in spirit, to strive for excellence in studies and activities, be respectful of others and to serve the school, church and the community in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Executive Director

is the spiritual leader and key visionary of the school. God has revealed His truth in Holy Scripture; therefore, quality Christian education is achieved through total integration of the Word of God into all aspects of a school’s life.

Board Members

are mature Christians with a vision of Christian education and must possess strong leadership abilities.
