Elementary School

Teachers provide an environment where children feel safe, loved and respected. Students are encouraged to develop a love for learning as they develop basic skills for a lifetime of education.

• DCA Elementary school operates on an M-TH school week, with no school on Fridays.
• Daily devotions and Bible lessons, weekly chapel services, service projects, and biblical character formation
• 90 minutes of daily Language Arts instruction, including phonics, reading, writing, spelling and speaking
• 60 minutes of daily math instruction incorporating mastering math facts with real world problems
• Cutting edge technology for student use including Chrome Books, iPads and Brightlink interactive boards in classrooms
• Comprehensive music program for Preschool-6th grade, including honor choir for 3rd-6th grade and band for 5th-6th grade
• Weekly specials classes in grades K-5 include Physical Education, Music, Art, Beyond Technology Education, and Library
• 5th-6th grade Idrahaje Camp.
• 1:1 Chrome Book program beginning in 6th grade
• Spirit Squad beginning in 1st grade
• Integrated STEAM instruction
• Before and after school care as well as Friday care, are offered for students in JK-5th grade.
